Sol ~ Soleil offers 3 Vertical Tanning Units (VTU) which offer an all over seamless tan as opposed to lay-down beds, which can result in pressure points on your back and white armpits. Due to the nature of how you stand in a VTU (legs apart, arms in the air), you are almost guaranteed an all over tan.

The booths are clean, hygienic and feature the most up to date tanning technology, which are up to 15% more efficient than some of our competitors. The VTUs are higher powered and perfect for anybody in a hurry, with tanning sessions ranging from 3 to 15 minutes, depending on skin type and colour. The convenience of these quick tanning sessions means that your tan can be topped up and fitted into a short break or lunchtime.

Each booth has it's own private changing area and the tanning areas are air cooled, minimizing perspiration, so you don't need a shower afterwards. Expert Help is always on hand in our salon for your re-assurance. Eye protection must also be worn at all times, as the eyelids do not provide protection against UV light.

Enhance Your Tan

After years of investigation into the effects of tanning on the skin, leading dermatologists recommend you apply a tanning cream prior to tanning. Good skin care is essential for maximum tanning results and a faster safer tan. If a cream is NOT applied, your skin will be dry and will reflect the tanning rays and you will not receive the maximum tanning in your paid time. E.g. during a 10 minute tanning session without a cream you would only receive 6 minutes of tan, that's a loss of 40% of your tanning time.
